Object Management Workbench

Object Management Workbench (OMW) manages all Enterprise One objects. Developers use OMW to create new objects and check out existing objects from a central development environment, copying those objects to their workstation. They can then use the development tools to change objects and check them back in for others to access.

Project life cycle

Create the object in development environment (DV) after that test the object (PY), deploy it and transfer to production development (PV) and then deploy object to enterprise server workstation.

Create the object in development (DV) -> Prototyping (PY) -> Deploy ->Production development

(PD) ->Deploy object to enterprise server workstation.


Project Promotion life cycle

This numbers indicates

11 -> New project pending review

21 -> Programming (Development Environment)

26 -> QA review (Prototype Environment)

28 -> QA Review complete (Prototype Environment)

38 -> Production/Live (Production Environment)

01 -> Complete.


For creating a new project in OMW project Click Add

Select the option OMW Project in the screen -> Click Ok

Enter data in the fields

Project ID-Enter the Project ID

Description-Enter the description of the project

Type-02(Enhancement)

Severity-11(Enhancement)

Product System Code-55-59(Reserved for clients)

Release-E811 (Objects are always tied to a release within a project)

-> Click Ok
