Data Items

A data item identifies a unit of information. The data item definition defines how the item can be used and Includes information such as the type of item and its length.

For creating a new data item in the data dictionary select the object and click Add

Select the option Data item button in the screen

Click OK

Data Item, Alias, Glossary Group, Description, Product Code, Data type and size are mandatory fields in this screen. After entering the data in the fields click Ok.
